BRANDING / ADVERTISING / COLLATERAL

In 2021, I was asked by the College Republicans at the University of Michigan to be a social media manager. But a few months into the job, I was digging through the club’s internal files...

...and I stumbled upon this:

I had to fix it.

College Republicans was primarily a partying club when I joined, so I wanted to make the brand seem more fun than it was currently. But it also needed to be accessible for other board members to use it in my absence.

Poppins, a common Google font, was specifically chosen so that it could be found on a range of software.

My colleagues were on board with the pitch, and suddenly I was taking the lead on marketing and advertising efforts. And I was bent on polishing everything I could find.

Poster ads
Slide decks
Social media
Merch
Signage

And, well, everything.

It has been a pleasure to not just work for the oldest CR chapter in the nation, but to be able to get to know the members and the community. My work is dedicated to all of them.
